Starbucks, Microsoft Team Up for 'Bean to Cup' Blockchain Plan

Starbucks is planning to implement Microsoft’s Azure Blockchain Service to track its coffee production. So reports Cointelegraph.

The company’s “bean to cup” plan was announced last year, and will included working with Columbian, Rwandan and Costa Rican farmers. "The system will purportedly allow customers to track the production of their coffee and will open up potential financial opportunities for coffee bean farmers on the backend."
