Visa, Paga Partner to Bring New Payments Technology to Africa

Visa is partnering with Paga, a Nigeria-based startup, to make payment technology available in Africa and abroad. So reports PYMNTS.

africa 1297148 640smallPaga built a “multi-channel network” allowing more than 14 million users to make payments, transfer money and shop digitally. Users can use a mobile app or utilize the services of the company’s nearly 25,000 agents. The partnership will also allow Paga account holders to use Visa’s network and provide an opportunity for the companies to partner on technological developments.
