EY Launches Blockchain Application Aimed At Creating Secure Contracts

Accounting firm EY announced the launch of its first business application for the Ethereum Blockchain—one aimed at improving the security of contracts. So reports Decrypt.

blockchain 3448502 640smallThe EY OpsChain Network Procurement solution will allow companies using the Ethereum Blockchain network to synchronize agreements using “smart contract technology” and will allow those companies to agree to terms on the blockchain while keeping “sensitive information private.” EY global blockchain leader Paul Brody said that by the year 2030 he expects more than half the new business contracts generated to be done so via blockchain.
