J-CODE Confiscates $4.5M in Cryptocurrency, Makes 61 Arrests

The Joint Criminal Opioid and Darknet Enforcement (J-CODE) coalition was responsible for the seizure of $4.5 million in cryptocurrency as well as the arrest of 61 individuals. So reports Coingate.

As part of Operation SaboTor, $2.48 million in cash, $40,000 worth of gold, 300 kilograms of drugs and 51 weapons were also seized. Law enforcement cracked down on 50 “darknet” accounts utilized in illegal activities, according to information in the article.
