Mayor-elect Eric Adams, who said he is hoping to transform New York into a crypto hub, said the city would be able to collect revenue using the prospective tokens. Adams also said he wants the city to entice trained employees in the space and to cut red tape inhibiting the growth of cryptocurrencies.
