South African Grocery Chain to Allow Crypto Payments at All Stores

Pick n Pay, one of the largest grocery chains in South Africa, announced it will allow more customers to pay for its products using cryptocurrency after a successful pilot program. So reports Reuters.

The announcement comes in the wake of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority declaring cryptocurrency is a regulatable financial product in the country. In order to accomplish its crypto expansion, the grocery chain partnered with CryptoConvert and Electrum.
