Traditional Banks Not At Risk Despite Fintech: Experts

Traditional banks are not going anywhere at the hands of emerging Fintech, at least according to regulators and policy-makers speaking during an IMF-World Bank meeting. So reports CNBC.

The experts say, though, it is up to governing bodies to ensure banks are prepared for the industry's evolution. One regulator noted while it is also important for financial institutions to prepare for the changing landscape, it is also critical that the regulatory field, often populated with lawyers and accountants, understand data and technology as well.
