TeamApt Pulls in $5.5M in Series A Round

TeamApt, a Nigerian fintech, raised $5.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Quantum Capital Partners. So reports TechCrunch.

The startup will use the capital to expand its “white label digital finance products and pivot to consumer finance” as it launches its banking app. TeamApt supplies payment and financial solutions to Nigeria’s large commercial banks. The company boasts a development team of 40 members and services 26 African bank clients to the tunes of $160 million in processed monthly transactions.
