N26 Now Top Valued Non-listed European Fintech

N26 GmbH, a German smartphone bank with backing from Peter Thiel and Li Ka-shing, is now Europe's highest valued non-listed fintech. So reports Bloomberg.

The company boasts 3.5 million customers and is now valued on par with Klarna Bank AB and TransferWise Ltd. The company may also opt to raise funds through an IPO at some point. The company recently launched in the U.S. and is planning an expansion into Brazil as well.
