Billionaire Mark Cuban said Facebook's cryptocurrency play is a "big mistake" and believes the new venture is "dangerous." So reports The Verge.

Cuban said he is not opposed to cryptocurrencies, in general, but is worried that Facebook is in a "unique position" with its more than 2.2 billion users. "By having those tentacles everywhere globally, they have the opportunity to be more impactful in countries where there is less stability," he said in an interview published by the news outlet. Cuban added the stakes are extremely high and people could die as a result of the project.
