New Benzinga Series Highlights Achievements Of Women In Fintech

In honor of Women’s History Month, Benzinga is launching a four-part YouTube series devoted to highlighting the role of women in fintech and financial services.

Research from Deloitte cited in the announcement shows women account for only 7% of fintech founders, while McKinsey points out that women represent “fewer than 1 in 5 financial services C-suite positions.” Studies have also shown women exhibit lower financial literacy compared to men despite taking a larger role in household finances and making greater financial contributions than previous generations, according to Benzinga.
