'Mutability' May Be Key to Fighting Crypto Crime, Stanford Research Suggests

Research out of Stanford University suggests making crypto transactions reversible could help prevent crime and encourage wider adoption. So reports Cointelegraph

Reversibility could help law enforcement recover funds stolen or obtained fraudulently, which would theoretically deter crime. However, this “mutability” might also make the blockchain a target for other types of manipulation, stunting its reputation as a decentralized form of transacting.
