Mayweather Emax Consumer Fraud Claim Tossed By Judge

The lawsuit alleging boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather, influencer Kim Kardashian and former Celtic stalwart Paul Pierce improperly promoted the EMax cryptocurrency token has been dismissed. So reports Yahoo! News.

Per U.S. District Judge Michael Fitzgerald, investors will be allowed to amend the proposed class action suit since they “failed to state whether or when they saw the promotions.” However, the case will not be allowed to move forward under California consumer protection statutes as those laws apply only to “tangible goods and services.”
