Per the payments giant, the aim of the program is to “establish a set of common standards and infrastructure that will help attest trusted interactions among consumers and businesses using blockchain networks.” Additionally, crypto wallet shops Bit2Me, Mercado Bitcoin, Lirium and Uphold are also partnering with Mastercard to enable digital asset transfers from Latin America, the Caribbean and the U.S.
