Sam Bankman-Fried Trial Begins with Jury Selection As Plea Talks Non-existent

Jury selection in the fraud trial of Sam Bankman-Fried has begun. In the 10 months since the FTX founder was arrested, the prosecution noted there were no plea discussions that took place, prompting the trial to move forward.  So reports the Associated Press.

Some 50 potential jurors were sent home and asked to return ahead of a selection of 12 official jurors and six alternates.
