Lazarus Hacked $3B In 6-Year Window: Report

Cybersecurity firm Recorded Future said the North Korean hacker group Lazarus hauled in approximately $3 billion in stolen crypto assets since 2017. So reports The Hacker News.

Per the report, the group was able to rip off $1.7 billion last year alone. Social engineering, phishing and mixing are among some of the tactics deployed by the hackers in order to procure the digital assets and obfuscate their origins.
