Fraud Arrests in Hong Kong Prompt Regulators To Take A Closer Look At Crypto Market

Hong Kong leadership said the territory is going to take a closer look at cryptocurrency regulation after eight individuals were arrested and charged with fraud. So reports the Associated Press.

Police said the individuals arrested include social media influencers promoting the JPEX currency exchange. The alleged scheme impacted more than 1,600 people and involved more than $150 million in investor assets.
