India Drafting Paper to Support Nationwide Blockchain Framework

The Indian government is making preparations to build a framework supporting a wider deployment of blockchain. So reports Coindesk.

Sanjay Dhotre, the minister of state for electronics and IT, said the Indian government is drafting an “approach paper” on the National Level Blockchain Framework to discuss the technology’s potential and “need for a shared infrastructure for different use cases,” the article reads. The Indian government has already constructed the Distributed Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology to support project development and research.
