Miami’s FTX Arena to Be No More After Epic Collapse

The Miami Heat and Miami-Dade County are terminating their naming rights partnership with embattled cryptocurrency firm FTX. So reports ESPN.

The arena, which is owned by the county, and FTX, agreed to a 19-year, $135 million deal last year. FTX made an upfront payment of $14 million ahead of a planned $5.5 million payment due in January. However, the company filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this month.
